With more than twenty years of public speaking experience, Mike has influenced dozens of companies and organizations through motivational speeches, keynote addresses, calls to action, event announcing, and corporate communication presentations.

Mike is a dynamic speaker who has made a positive impact on a variety of industries and professional spaces. He has delivered addresses covering various topics, including: Motivational speeches, non-profit fundraising, for-profit development, cancer advocacy, strategic partnerships, public policy advocacy and legislative strategy, communication strategy and organizational analysis, and cannabis advocacy

Mike’s interest in writing began after his return to life after cancer and addiction through journaling. He channeled his newfound energy into creating captivating messaging as a ghost writer and copy editor for more than a dozen entities. He refined his writing ability further during graduate school, where he focused on studying rhetorical scholarship and persuasion through thought leaders like Brené Brown and Robert Cialdini.

As the founder of the Texas Cancer Survivor’s Coalition, Mike also penned numerous op-eds while advocating for the inclusion of cancer navigation services and expansion pass of medical cannabis legislation through the Texas Legislature.
